Stefanos Tsitsipas recalls getting drunk for first time

Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas wants to create outside the court and he believes that will help his game.n “I think growth starts from outside the tennis court, and then it goes into my tennis,” Tsitsipas told Vogue.

Tsitsipas, who is enjoying a career-high ranking of No. 3 in the world, is a big fan of Creten salad "There’s a salad that I find really underrated, and that’s the Cretan salad,” Tsitsipas says, asked about a tweet in which he called for the abolition of the Caesar.

“I would love this salad to be more in the spotlight”. Tsitsipas doesn't want to be only focused on tennis in his life. "Well, just feeling anxious and feeling like my life leads somewhere,” he says.

“Sometimes I feel like I play tennis and I offer so much to many different people that love the sport. But outside the court, I want to be able to create”.

During the preseason, Tsitsipas had a bit of a wild night in Dubai and got drunk for the first time.

"The sun was setting, and, you know, we were thinking we were going to have to spend the night there,” Tsitsipas recalls "That was probably the first time I experienced being drunk I have a saying that I really believe, and that doesn’t translate only into my tennis, which is to go after every single day”.

Last week, Tsitsipas was beaten by Reilly Opelka in the Toronto Masters semifinal. "It was played on the details, and he prevailed. It didn't go my way when it had to, and it's all right. I feel like there is hope for next time," Tsitsipas said, per the ATP website.

"When you get no rhythm, it's also kind of difficult, sometimes feel and get the shots that you had before. It kind of ruins your game very silently, very slow. The main factor there is just to forget all that and just play."
