Barbora Krejcikova in distress after being labeled unprofessional by Garbine Muguruza

World No. 9 Barbora Krejcikova was in distress after her US Open round-of-16 match though she ended on the winning side. Krejcikova was down 6-5 in the second set when she took an off-court medical time. After returning to the court, Krejcikova served out the 12th game to force a tie-break -- which she won to book a 6-3 7-6 (4) win over former world No.

1 Garbine Muguruza. Krejcikova tried to apologize to Muguruza at the end but the Spaniard told the Czech that she was being so unprofessional. Krejcikova had a comfortable 6-3 4-0 lead before the things started to get complicated for her.

"I think I started the match really well and was playing good tennis. The key was to start the match well. There were a lot of breaks which was difficult but I was happy that I won the first set 6-3. Out of nowhere I got the lead 4-0 and then things started to get complicated," Krejcikova explained, per WTA Insider.

"Garbine started to raise her level and I was expecting that. At the end I was really struggling and I feel really bad right now. I don't really know what happened but I couldn't breathe. I started to feel dizzy and the whole world was shaking.

It never happened to me before. "I just gave my all at the end. It's tough because it was my first time on such a big court playing the night session and I was really having fun until then."

Krejcikova continues her dream US Open debut

Krejcikova, 25, has made the US Open quarterfinal in her first main draw appearance at the tournament.

Krejcikova drew lots of attention to her name a few months ago, when she captured the French Open title. Nobody expected Krejcikova to win the French Open but she put up a stunning campaign and since then she has been absolutely brilliant. Krejcikova plays next No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka.
