Jannik Sinner: I'm working on one specific thing but I won't reveal it

Rising Italian star Jannik Sinner has revealed that there is a specific aspect of his game that he is currently working on to improve. Sinner, 20, is one of the fastest rising stars on the Tour and many believe that he has the potential to win a Grand Slam in the future and become a world No.

1. Thus season, Sinner has made five finals and he is in contention to make the Nitto ATP Finals. "We are never satisfied, we always find something that needs to be improved. I see things to correct and he sees others .

Now we are working a lot on one thing in particular that I am not going to reveal, but it is something that I try to implement during my matches. I'm not telling you what it is because otherwise in the next match you will only talk about that.

But I'm a person who works on all aspects, including tactical and mental parts," Sinner said, per We Love Tennis.

Sinner loves playing indoors

After winning Sofia earlier this month, Sinner also made the final in Antwerp.

Sinner grew up a place which is known for its extreme weather conditions so the Italian played lots of tennis on indoor surfaces. “In my hometown during winter there are 5 meters of snow, so as a child I could only play indoors.

So yes, this is my favourite surface,” said Sinner, per Tennishead. “There is no wind, no sun: there is only the ball and the court," Sinner revealed. Also, Sinner rejected the notion that his forehand and backhand look flat.

"From television it looks like I only hit flat, but I also change the spin during the match. Television filming has a strong influence on our perception. Riccardo (Piatti) in person is of course better at analysing my games because he grasps the details." Sinner has clinched a spot for the Next Gen ATP Finals but his main goal is to make the Nitto ATP Finals.
