Iga Swiatek hilariously responds when asked what she sees in mirror after waking up

Iga Swiatek replaced Ashleigh Barty as the new No. 1 and a reporter wanted to know whether the Pole sees the world No. 1 player when she wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror. Swiatek, who is currently on a 17-match winning streak, delivered a hilarious response to the reporter's question.

"Well, when I wake up and look in the mirror, I see a mess basically (smiling)," Swiatek said, per WTA Insider.

On Saturday, Swiatek won her first Miami title after beating Naomi Osaka 6-4 6-0. "Iga was quite different from all the players that I've played previously, so it was a bit hard to adjust to what she was doing," Osaka told reporters afterward.

"But I think hopefully if I play her next time, it will be a much better match. "I'm not as disappointed as I normally would be. Normally, I would be crying in the locker room or something, but now I'm kind of chill.

I feel like I know what I want to do better, and I just want to go back and start training again to hopefully win a tournament next time."

Swiatek proud of her latest achievement

"I just feel really satisfied and fulfilled and also proud of myself," Swiatek said after winning her third consecutive title.

"I feel like I have got to celebrate, because I don't know how long I can keep up with this streak." Also, Swiatek became the fourth WTA player to complete the Sunshine Double. Previously, the feat was achieved by Stefanie Graf, Kim Clijsters and Victoria Azarenka.

"I feel pretty privileged that I can be amongst those players, because I wouldn't even dream of it a few years ago," Swiatek said. "I knew it's going to be tough playing these two tournaments in a row. I realized at the end it's just another match and I took it step by step."
