Emma Raducanu: What Carlos Alcaraz is doing is incredible and really impressive

British tennis star Emma Raducanu called Carlos Alcaraz an inspiration and described his results as impressive. Raducanu, 19, is one of the brightest players on the WTA Tour as she is already a Grand Slam champion. On the other side, 19-year-old Alcaraz is having a stunning start to his career and he is widely considered as someone who will win multiple Grand Slams and reach the world No.

1 ranking. This season, Alcaraz won the Masters events in Miami and Madrid, as well as ATP 500 events in Rio de Janeiro and Barcelona. "I think it's incredible what he's doing right now. Being so young and being so consistent is really impressive.

I think the way that he moves is really gracious and elegant. If you watch him, it just looks like he's flying through the air," Raducanu said, per Sportskeeda.

Raducanu: Alcaraz is aggressive and it is paying off for him

Alcaraz has played four finals this year and he is 4-0 in 2022.

In Rio de Janeiro, Alcaraz ousted Diego Schwartzman in the final. At the Miami Masters, Alcaraz defeated Casper Ruud for his maiden Masters title. This clay season, Alcaraz made it all the way in front of his home fans in Barcelona and Madrid.

"He's super aggressive, can just take the racket out of someone's hands. What he's doing at the moment is really a good inspiration for everyone on the tour," Raducanu added. Meanwhile, Raducanu is playing her first clay season.

Raducanu played her first clay event in Stuttgart, where she reached the quarterfinal before losing to world No. 1 Iga Swiatek. In Madrid, Raducanu defeated Tereza Martincova and Marta Kostyuk before losing to Anhelina Kalinina in the round-of-16.

Raducanu is now set to play Rome, where she didn't have much luck with the draw. In the first round, Raducanu faces 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu. It remains to be seen how far can Raducanu go in her debut at Foro Italico.
