Stefanos Tsitsipas answered a series of fan questions on Reddit, where the Greek talked about many topics. Stefanos talked about the relationship with his father and much more, like the controversial Netflix series Break Point.
He explained: "My father has been instrumental in developing my tennis and fundamental to my personal balance throughout my life. He only deserves respect and appreciation for all the work he has done and he will never stop being by my side.
Netflix Break Point? I didn't like it at all, I feel that he has a bigger potential than the possibility of dedicating the series to just one or very few tennis players." Some social media users have highlighted that Tsitsipas could be referring to Nick Kyrgios, a tennis player who had large spaces during the Break Point season.
Between Greek and Australian, as we know, there is not a great relationship. Are Tsitsipas' words a dig at Kyrgios? Tsitsipas talked about the Wimbledon challenge against Murray, a match that saw him against the whole crowd, on the side of the home tennis player.
About winning Wimbledon against Andy Murray, Stefanos explained: "I'm used to playing away games, it's been happening all my life and honestly I play with nothing to lose, I give it all and I feel like I'm giving it all by elevating my game."
Tsitsipas between private life and the 2023 US Open
Things regarding the private life of Stefanos Tsitsipas are going very well, with the tennis player who is living a beautiful love story with the Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa.
However, Tsitsipas has not achieved great results in this 2023 and indeed among his fans there were those who expected much more. While other tennis players continue their growth path, the Greek seems stuck in limbo, stuck behind and never able to compete for the victory of a Grand Slam.
And to think that the season had started well with the final in Melbourne but since then we have never seen a great version of the Greco tennis player. Now the US Open is starting and Tsitsipas has the aim of stopping this trend and becoming competitive also in terms of Grand Slam.
