Jannik Sinner and his team gave an interview for ATP Uncovered, where they spoke about themselves with lightness and sincerity. The aspect that emerges most forcefully is certainly the understanding between Sinner and the team members: the two coaches Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill, plus the physiotherapist and athletic trainer.

As Sinner himself stated, the affinity must not only be professional, but also personal: "I see them more than my family, so you have to feel very comfortable and talk about everything," In addition to moments of leisure and relaxation with card games, Sinner's training routine is very dense and each team member plays an important role.

In the morning, the first thing is physical work on mobility and injury prevention, a phase carried out mainly with a physiotherapist and athletic trainer.

Vagnozzi, however, described the specifically tennis part: "Then we go on the court, he normally plays for an hour and a half with another player.

In the afternoon we do an hour of technique, serve, volley, slice." Sinner's team, each in their own way, did not hesitate to praise his seriousness and desire to improve and work hard, but also his pleasant personality and his joking side.

Likewise, Sinner underlined how essential close contact with his team is for him: "I have to work a lot and they have to push me, and sometimes I push them to do a little more. I always look for people who are good friends, but I also want them to be honest with me." Sinner is continuing to work to recover from the fatigue of the US Open and thus dedicate himself to the last part of the season, which will end with the great goal of the ATP Finals and the Davis Cup Finals.

Sinner will return to the court at the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing, a tournament that will see several big names on the circuit. The Beijing tournament will return on September 28th and immediately afterwards there will be space for the Shanghai Masters 1000 scheduled for September 4th.

Then the tournaments in Vienna, the Masters 1000 in Paris-Bercy and finally the ATP Finals which will be held from 12th to 19th November. The Italian had an excellent 2023 but the goal now is to complete it with another success, perhaps another 1000 or even the ATP Finals in Turin, a tournament that would see him triumph at home, and in front of his fans.
