Jannik Sinner has gained great confidence in this last part of the season, projecting himself towards the ATP Finals in Turin. The success in Beijing beating first Carlos Alcaraz and then Daniil Medvedev, the qualification for the ATP Finals in Turin sealed at the Masters 1000 in Shanghai, and the tenth title beating the Russian for the second consecutive final.

Victories and performances that fueled the hopes of Italian fans, ready to welcome Sinner to the Masters Tournament. The South Tyrolean was the first singles player to reach Turin and test the training courts: a choice that says a lot about Sinner's desire and ambitions.

Sinner: "I will try to make the Italian fans happy"

Just talking about the two matches won against Medvedev, the Russian beat him six times out of six in direct matches, on the official website of the Nitto ATP Finals, the 22 year old explained: "When you have confidence it's a little easier to play , but you have to know how to build that trust.

You can't buy it. It's a very important aspect. Obviously the more games you win the better you build it, but the opponent against whom you achieve these victories is also equally important. I would say that from a certain point of view is something that influences you, but on the other hand you also know that it will always be different every time.

It may be that some styles of play are better suited against some than others, but as a rule you need to be ready on that day, not think about what happened in the past, even if you are in the lead in head-to-head matches.

It's about being courageous in every circumstance." Sinner finally focused on the Finals, a tournament that will also see Alcaraz and Holger Rune take to the court: "I think it's great for the sport to see young players emerge.

It's really cool to be part of this rivalry. The crowd will be on my side, that's clear, and I will do my best to try to make everyone happy and win as many matches as possible. But I also have to enjoy this moment, it will certainly be beautiful just as I hope my tournament will be beautiful."
