Stefanos Tsitsipas will begin his adventure at the 2023 ATP Finals in a few hours. The Greek tennis player did not experience his best year in 2023 and indeed was the victim of constant ups and downs. Great performances alternated with sensational crashes, with Tsitsi who, according to bookmakers, is not considered one of the main favorites for the ATP Finals.

The books see him far behind but it should not be forgotten that Stefanos already won this tournament in 2019, and he has always offered great performances in this last event of the season. The Greek tennis player will make his debut against Jannik Sinner, a player with whom he is ahead 5-2 in previous matches.

He will not underestimate him and indeed Stefanos spoke thus in front of the ATP media, less than 24 hours after his debut, declaring: "Jannik tends to play without fear and moves very well. He is a very athletic player but not heavy, he has great qualities and feels the field lightly.

His reaction times are quite quick. Novak Djokovic in the group? Nole has a very strong presence when you face him and it's hard not to feel it. He has amazing body language and you feel his mental status well during our matches.

Every time he is very focused on his task and on the goal he intends to achieve. It's rare in tennis to see athletes like this, there aren't many other tennis players you can say the same about. His game is intense and you feel his presence." The ATP Finals are a very important event for the Greek tennis player who continued: "I think that the ATP Finals Nights are an event very close in terms of experience to a Slam.

In the end you can play a Slam even if you are number 200 in the world, but there are not many who can say they have played the ATP Finals, for me they are of great importance. It is a tournament with great tradition and a long history." Tsitsipas is still chasing a victory in the Grand Slam tournaments, he has reached the final but has always been stopped and the Greek tennis player wants next season to be different. Now the priority is the ATP Finals and then he will think about the future.
