Srdjan, Novak Djokovic's father, has harshly attacked those who still point to Roger Federer and Steffi Graf as the No.1 record holders. The Serbian champion's father also shared his prediction for the future: that Novak Djokovic will reach 500 weeks as No.1 in the ATP ranking.

Djokovic won the 2023 ATP Finals, overtaking Roger Federer and becoming the player with the most titles in the history of the year-end Masters. Not only that: at the end of the year, Nole will reach his 400th week as No.1 in the ATP ranking.

Srdjan Djokovic shares once again his dislike for Roger Federer

According to Srdjan, many would be reluctant to admit and recognize Novak Djokovic's dominance. And Nole's father attacked (for the umpteenth time) Roger Federer and, surprisingly, Steffi Graf.

"For 15 years, he has been the best in the world in all possible categories. And of course, that bores them all and they are unable to admit that he is the best in the world. Here, for example, Federer was the best for many years with 310 weeks.

When Novak caught up with him, they invented: Oh, no, Steffi Graf has 370 and something weeks. Steffi was also passed, so they invented someone from before the Open era, who has 500 and something weeks. .. Well, do you want to will it be in those 500 or so weeks? Well, it will be," said Srdjan.

We recall that Djokovic, for his part, after the victory at the ATP Finals, he shared all his kindness and ability to mediate towards his opponets, by explaining: "I am very proud of my performance. Obviously I thank Sinner for allowing me to reach the semi-final when I was in the balance.

I tried to take a step forward and I played two very high level matches. Today I was very aggressive from the first moment against Sinner: it was a different match compared to the previous one. I think that match helped me manage the atmosphere and the crowd better.

Obviously I analyzed the match to understand what I could have done better. Jannik is a very kind guy, who follows the right values. He deserves all this success and is on the right path. I'm not the only one to say that he can win Slams and become number one.

I would be surprised if this didn't happen. I don't know if it will happen next year or the year after. He's only 22 and has a lot of time ahead of him."
