The work carried out by the coaches of the young Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill, has led the world no.4 to exponentially raise his level. This culminated with the best ATP ranking and the recognition of ATP coach of the year, for Jannik's coaches.

During an interview given to Sky, Simone Vagnozzi talked about his player, highlighting Sinner's great potential and the young Italian's aptitude for work. "Working with Sinner is special, he can still improve a lot. Knowing that every day your student goes onto the court with an important goal makes everything easy.

He can still improve a lot. A defect? He is stubborn, but after a match he easily understands where he went wrong as happened in Rome and Paris," said the 2023 ATP Tour coach of the year. In 2024 Sinner will be called to confirm the good things he has seen this season, starting with the first Slam of the season, the Australian Open, in which he has historically struggled the most.

Before the Australian Major Jannik will be involved in a Kooyong Classic event, which will be held from 10 to 12 January.

Jannik Sinner's 2023

2023 was the year of Sinner's consecration. The Italian tennis player won the first ATP Masters 1000 of his young career, beating the Australian Alex De Minaur in the final in Toronto, and was a great protagonist in Italy's victory in the Davis Cup, after a 47-year fast.

Sinner managed to defeat Novak Djokovic in 2 consecutive weeks, overcoming Nole during the Green group of the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals held at the Pala AlpiTour in Turin - with Nole then beating Jannik in the final of the Masters Tournament - and in the Davis Cup semi-final held in Malaga.

We recall Sinner will be one of the most awaited player for the upcoming season, which will reach its climatx at the Australian Open. In his career, Jannik got a 4th round and a quarterfinal, like best result in Melbourne.
