In a recent interview with ESPN, the Frenchman Benoit Paire, currently in 117th place in the ATP ranking, expressed his determination to return to the top-100 again. Paire said he was confident for next season, but he also outlined what the horizon for his tennis career could be. "To be honest, I feel confident about my chances.

Last year I had a normal season because I played a lot of Challengers and I didn't play well every week. But I also feel good physically and mentally. And like I said, I want to enjoy another year or two. This is why I play tennis.

I feel good. I played a good tournament in Portugal at the end of the year, I reached a final. I start the year with position 117, which brings me closer to the Top 100. We'll see what happens," he explained. The 34-year-old Frenchman will return to the court in London, on the occasion of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown, an exhibition tournament in which great players will be present players like Andrei Rublev and Casper Ruud.

Paire said he feels ready to face top-level tennis players. "I want to play against these guys on the Grand Slam circuit again," he analyzed.
