Sinner analyzed the match against Monfils

"I think that in the end it was a positive match, today I was in more difficulty, I wasn't at 100%. There weren't many rallies in the match, I reacted well in the important points in the first and third sets.

In the second my attention dropped a little and the partial went away. It's never easy to play against someone like Monfils. You have to be careful in every match and in the quarterfinals I have to be even more careful, it's increasingly difficult because you're in the quarterfinals against a player like Milos Raonic who I've never played against in my career.

It will be a tough match but I'm ready to face this new challenge, I hope it can be a good match even if there won't be much pace. We haven't seen him on the pitch for quite a while, he has had time to recover, adjust and change certain things. I don't know how much more I can say about the match, the only thing that matters is that I will give 100%," explained Sinner.

The match between Sinner and Raonic in a few hours in Rotterdam, after the quarter-final which sees the Dutch Griekspoor on the pitch against the Finnish Ruusuvuori. The other two quarter-finals will be played in the afternoon and will see Dimitrov and Shevchenko and De Minaur and Rublev on the field.
