Would it be possible to see Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner try another sport together, besides tennis? Yes, after the proposal made by the Serbian champion to the young Italian, to ski together on the snowy slopes.

At a recent event of his racket brand HEAD, which also produces ski equipment, Djokovic spoke about a possible collaboration on the snow with Sinner.

During the event of the famous sports equipment brand, the 36-year-old Serbian spoke about his passion for winter sports.

"In the next few years I can't wait to hit the slopes. I'm very passionate about winter sports and a big fan of skiing," he told.

Nole then referred to the young Italian tennis player's past as a skier, hypothesizing a possible collaboration with him.

"Jannik Sinner also likes skiing, so maybe one day we could do something together with Head, who knows him. I'm always open to this kind of craziness. It's these kinds of activities that take me out of my comfort zone, that bring me excitement and joy, but that also attract new fans," he said.

Before meeting on the snow, many challenges await the top two tennis players in the ranking on the tennis courts, starting from the clay court season.

Sinner, Djokovic and the common passion for winter sports

Sinner has a past as a promising skier. The young Italian abandoned the snow to then dedicate himself to tennis, where he exploded between the second half of 2023 and the beginning of 2024.

Djokovic is instead a great ski enthusiast and, in his free time, often has fun with his family on the snowy slopes.

The 24-time slam champion, who a few weeks ago had published a video on social media in which he extolled his skiing skills, jokingly pronouncing the phrase: Tomba la Bomba, in reference to the Italian ski champion Alberto Tomba, made a proposal to his young rival Italian.
