Gael Monfils is in the most important period of his tennis season: from the Roland Garros to the Olympic tournament in Paris, the expert French tennis player has set goals that he wants to achieve at all costs, in the next two months, as he himself explained at the French Open media day.

"The Roland Garros is the last clay court tournament before the Olympics and I will try to play well to qualify. It's not an easy time and competing on this surface is getting tougher and tougher, even though I'm having a lot of fun. It's a privilege to play these last ones. tournaments,” he told.

In the meantime, for Monfils he created a vlog to tell the life of a tennis player in 360 degrees. The 37-year-old wants to show what goes on behind the scenes and the sacrifices an athlete makes in order to perform to the best of their ability.

"A couple of days ago I happened to talk about the pressure you feel when playing Roland Garros for a Frenchman. It's nice to show people what it's all about by being as transparent as possible. This is a way to open the door on my daily life to show people what it means to be a high-level athlete. We have our own private life and this can allow us to get closer to the fans. Somehow you let people get to know you better. I have always thought of a documentary on my career with all the material collected over the years. It's a way to leave a mark," he explained.
