The Dutchman was a tough opponent, he showed this several times in the last matches but gave the opportunity to Jannik to get familiar with the surface and work on the next matches. Now in the second round there is the Hungarian Maroszan, and Jannik has the chance to earn a quarter-final level against probably Stefanos Tsitsipas.

During the post match interview on Tennis Tv the new number one answered many questions of the curious, not only about the match or the adaptation to grass but also about private life. From the relationship with tennis player Anna Kalinskaya to other things, an example Jannik Sinner talked about his relationship with the family and what has really changed since he became number one in the world or at least since he is on the crest of the wave: "Me, my family and my friends are always the same.

It’s just results, of course we’re all happy about it and I’m lucky to share it with them. But for the rest I am always the same person as 1 or 2 years ago". The tennis player from San Candido continued: "I love spending time with my friends doing something different, playing cards or going karting.

I’m very good when I’m with them". On future goals the blue closes: "I wake up with a goal, then I want to improve as a person and as a tennis player. In my mind I always want to work hard, it’s part of my work ethic and I think I have a positive mindset", explained the 2024 Australian Open champion.

Now on the eve of Italy-Spain Jannik spoke to the ATP website and commented on his relationship with football: "My favorite player is Gianluigi Donnarumma, then if you know someone you obviously have a little more friendship.”
