Holger Rune will challenge Novak Djokovic in the 4th round of Wimbledon, in a match that will say a lot both about the physical conditions of the Serbian champion, and about the crisis that the young Dane is going through, who will try to return to the quarterfinals of the London Slam, as happened last year.

Rune, who defeated the Frenchman Quentin Halys in the 3rd round, does not trust the Serbian champion, underlining at the press conference how Nole seems to move well on the court. Furthermore, the Dane has argued about his matches placed on a side court. For two consecutive times, Rune's match was placed by the organizers on court 18, a choice that did not please the Dane.

"I don't usually pay attention to the court I'm on but I was a little surprised that they put me on 18. I accepted that. Then they moved us to Court 1 after the rain stoppage and I liked it because the energy is similar to that of the center court. I was close to losing but I'm happy to have won. Djokovic? I expect a tough battle. It's always the case when you play against him. He's one of the toughest tennis players of all time and one of the most successful. I expect a very high level.

I know he had surgery recently, but I actually trained with him the first week and he seems to be moving well, with confidence. I'll have to play my best tennis if I want to have a chance of beating him. That's what I'll try to do. The first four shots in tennis are very important, especially on grass, because usually there aren't such long rallies. I'm trying to improve especially in that area. I think I showed it against Halys, who has a great serve and gives his all for the rest. I needed to be ready with my legs to be prepared for the answer," he said.
