New year, new life. Probably Milos Raonic and Carlos Moya have thought this when it came the moment of working together. The Spaniard, former World No. 1, spoke to Punto de Break about the new partnership with the Canadian. 'I will work with Piatti.
Riccardo is going to follow Milos every day, I will follow him for 15 weeks. Me and Raonic started talking about it when he stopped working with Ljubicic. His manager called me, and after IPTL we started to practice together and to give each other some feedbacks.
He asked me if I was available to travel with him and to be part of the project. After one week, it means a few days ago, he called me saying that I was the perfect person for him. It should be a long term collaboration, but there is nothing sure.
Milos is a player with an enormous potential and I believe he can make some huge improvements on his game'. Moya also shared his views regarding the rumors of a possible collaboration with Nadal, as according to some the Spaniard could have started working with Nadal: 'Rafa's team is very solid.
Nadal wants to have everything under control and I think that he will end his career with the people he has today. I am sure he will have a great 2016'. Finally he spokeabout his new experience: 'It was a train that I could not miss.
It's a personal challenge, I face it with a lot enthusiasm. I want to work only with this player. Before accepting it, I spoke with my wife because being away from home for 15 weeks is not easy. It's an emotional challenge'. ALSO READ: TENNISWORLD EXCLUSIVE - Carlos Moya: ´We´ll take a Long Time to Have a Grand Slam Champion´
