In an interview to Marianne Magazine, Petra Kvitova revealed after winning the bronze medal at the Rio Olympics, she wanted to enjoy her achievement in a relaxing evening. 'This time I celebrated, I usually do not go to the parties but in Rio it was different, there were several athletes,' Kvitova said.
'I am proud of celebrating for this medal, I did it for myself, I am figuring out life is not only tennis. A little bit like I did after the Wimbledon title, some drinks, but luckily I hold alcohol. I like wine and beer. But I have never got drunk, when I have to play a match I don't drink.' She however made an exception in Luxembourg this week.

Kvitova observed, 'If my parents had expected money for me, I don't know if I would have been able to hold the pressure.
Definitely I wasn't playing thinking of earning a lot of money. As kids you have to enjoy playing tennis and being happy.' ALSO READ: Roger Federer: 'I am using Nadal as an inspiration for coming back strong in 2017'
