Rising French tennis player Lucas Pouille simply can't wait for this year's Roland Garros to kick off, May 28 - June 11. The world number 17 is set to make his fifth straight appearance on the clay of Paris. He will certainly be looking to leave his mark in front of his home fans and finally make it past the second-round at the tournament.

''I'm happy to be here again, with the status of a seeded player,'' Pouille said ''Playing here in front of the French crowd is going to be an incredible feeling.
I will try to get the maximum out of it and take all the positive energy.''Pouille has drawn a lot of attention to his name in the last year or so due to his notable on-court performances and achievements. His campaign at the French major event will undoubtedly be closely followed by the locals.
''I take it as a boost,'' Pouille said when asked about the expectations. ''I can't wait for the qualifiers to begin, to feel the atmosphere go up (here at Roland Garros).''
