Grigor Dimitrov is ready to have a great Roland Garros campaign. The Bulgarian player, who advanced into the third round beating Tommy Robredo, is satisfied with the way he is playing. 'I think it was a better match today than the first one [against Stephane Robert],' said the world no. 13, who hit 43 winners. 'There were a lot of positive things. I still believe that I can do a few things better. We all know how Robredo can compete. [I’m] pleased with my game and looking forward to what's ahead right now.'
Dimitrov, who won 20 matches so far this year, wants to improve maybe to come back in the top 10 almost three years after: 'It took me quite a few years to get to the level that I am, and now it's just all about my next step. And I think I'm on the right path now. I think I've proven to myself that I can play good on pretty much all the surfaces. And I had good success on clay, as well, beating good players. Whoever I have to face, I'm pretty excited to play. I think this is the best thing when you come on the court and you feel happy and excited to compete. This is also where the character comes in.'
