Dominic Thiem was the only player in the last 23 months to beat Rafael Nadal on clay, but the Sky Sports pundit Peter Fleming thinks that the Austrian won't really be able to compete for major titles and consistently on the very big stage.
'There's one thing Thiem could do better - and it's why he hasn't challenged for top honours,' Fleming said. 'He makes too many unforced errors against the great errors and they punish you for that.
Sometimes it appears he just doesn't know where the ball is going. He aims the ball down the middle so much that when it comes to being precise when he needs to be precise, he can't do it. To beat the very best, you must be precise.' ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: 'You cannot be No.
