Austria's Oliver Marach and Jurgen Melzer are full of confidence and hoping to continue their great form in Kitzbuhel. Marach, 39, and 38-year-old ended runners-up in Umag a week ago but won their maiden team title in Hamburg.

"Hopefully we can take our run with us now [to Kitzbuhel]… We will have already, on Tuesday or Wednesday, our next match. We will rest tomorrow a little bit and then start the tournament," Marach said after the Hamburg doubles final, as revealed on the ATP website.

No. 3 seeds Marach and Melzer beat fourth-seeded Haase and Koolhof 6-2 7-6 (3) in the Hamburg final to lift their maiden team title. A week earlier, Marach and Melzer fell just short of winning it all on the clay courts of Umag.

Back then, Marach and Melzer blew two championship points as Haase and Oswald claimed a narrow 7-5 6-7 (2) 14-12 win in the Umag final. Marach and Melzer, seeded at No. 1, are now the main favorites to make a splash in Kitzbuhel. Marach and Melzer have been drawn to meet Leonardo Mayer and Andres Molteni of Argentina in their Kitzbuhel opener.
