Who is Nick Kyrgios' favorite WTA player? The Australian replies...

In an interview, Nick Kyrgios was asked who is his favorite female player on the WTA Tour. The Australian replied Anna Kalinskaya. Kyrgios dated his compatriot Alja Tomljanovic for years before splitting. In an interview to the Kremlin Cup website, Kalinskaya spoke about her breakthrough: "I changed my coach, probably changed my mind and attitude towards tennis, generally the whole way I look at my tennis life.

I tune up for every match in a different way, my game changed a bit, too. And I am just trying to focus more on myself and improve every day." On her coach Levan Nanava, Kalinskaya added: "We started working together atWimbledon.

My coach is from Argentina, her name is Patricia Tarabini. I really enjoy working with her. She really helps me not only in terms of tennis, but also mentally." On how her popularity is increasing, Kalinskaya concluded: "Of course, the better you play, the more attention you get.

The phone was full with messages, sure, it was nice. Everyone watched me play. There were a lot of congratulations from family and friends. The atmosphere at big tournaments, especially Slams, is amazing. It was so nice." In a conference call on Monday the ATP Chief Executive Chris Kermode commented on the ATP Finals being held in Turin from 2021 to 2025.

"We have chosen Turin for a very easy reason: the passion they showed", said Kermode, who will leave the ATP Presidency in the end of the year. "We really believe in it, when we started working about it we were amazed by the passion of people involved in tennis in Italy.

Turin reinvented itself, it has energy and shares our vision. From this house a new era for tennis starts. This event is the superbowl of tennis, the biggest tennis event in the planet. Bringing it here was an important decision for us.

When we picked London no one believed that indoor tennis would have worked, and you can see the results. We are very happy to have found a right place in Turin."
