Stefanos Tsitsipas: 'A fan writes love letters to me'

Stefanos Tsitsipas spoke about the support he received by his fans in China. The Athens native revealed something interesting. Tsitsipas said: “Well, I received a lot of gifts let me tell you in the last couple of days.

I have one fan in particular that has been going after me all the time. She is my number one fan I would say. They are all number one but she, in particular, started following me I think that’s the very first time I came to China.

So I do appreciate that and she does write love letters to me, plenty of gifts which I do appreciate a lot and she is very kind of polite which is nice", admitted Tsitsipas who is back to practice at the Monte Carlo Country Club.

He will play in Basel next week, then Paris Masters and the ATP Finals in London. Meanwhile after suffering a shoulder injury for four years and dealing with a stress fracture, the young British player Barney Fitzpatrick trained with the Spaniard Rafael Nadal at the Academy in Manacor.

"Last year I was injured and I could not play for almost six months. It was incredible to play again and do it with Rafa", said Fitzpatrick. Nadal will play an exhibition match with the Serb Novak Djokovic in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, on Thursday October 24 at 7:00 PM.

On the same day they will hold a press conference and hold clinics with kids. The income of the tickets sale will be given to the charity associations but according to rumours Rafael and Novak will take some huge appearance fees to play.
