American doubles specialist Rajeev Ram, 35, didn't regret his decision to team up with Great Britain's Joe Salisbury for this season as the American claims the two have a great chemistry. The 35-year-old American and his 27-year-old partner Salisbury have been consistent with their form and results throughout the whole year, having reached five finals and won two titles this season.
Ram and Salisbury were among the best eight teams this season as they will have a chance to battle for this year's Nitto ATP Finals doubles crown at The O2 Arena. "We complement each other really well,” Ram told the Nitto ATP Finals.
“He’s just a super athlete on the court, covering a lot of space." Ram and Salisbury have a great relationship and understanding for each other but they haven't spent too much time together off the court.
"We get on really well on and off the court. We haven’t spent loads of time together off the court, which I think in some ways is quite healthy,” Salisbury revealed. “Even though we get on quite well, you don’t want to be with each other 24/7, because you can spend too much time together, and then you can feel like you need a bit of space."
