Borna Coric: 'I travel 47 weeks a year, it's a tough life'

In an interview with IN Magazine, Borna Coric spoke about his romantic relationship with the singer Mladen Grdovic. The Croatian player admitted they are dating each other. "We are very busy but we chat pretty often, I love her as a singer and person.

I am sure that we will sing a song together once my throat stops hurting. But I am so focused on tennis that I cannot fall in love and focus on other things. It's not easy with so many trips and having this lifestyle. "Sometimes it's difficult for me, it's not easy at all.

I have been travelling for 47 weeks this year. I was at home for some days, I missed my family and friends, the nerves are consistently there and sometimes my head hurts. I hang out with my friends at dinner, nice people, which makes me more relaxed."

In five years he sees himself in the top five or three rankings, in ten years he sees himself inching closer to the end of his career and then he will have some good time. "I will take a two-month break and travel a bit around the world.

I want to go to Thailandia, China, where everything is interesting and the culture is different but now I see pretty less about all those cities I went to." Coric last played the Davis Cup finals in Madrid, in November.

The only rubber he played was against Karen Khachanov, in Croatia's tie against Russia. Khachanov won the rubber 6-7, 6-4, 6-4.
