Rising Polish star Hubert Hurkacz insists off the court Benoit Paire is a great guy to hang out with. Throughout his whole career, the Frenchman has been struggling with his temper as he is no stranger to on-court meltdowns and tantrums.
But Hurkacz insists off the court Paire is a completely different guy and there is no tension or any negativity while hanging out with the Frenchman. "Everyone will admit that off the court Benoit is one of the most likeble fellows on the tour.
He's a very positive guy with good vibes," Hurkacz told Marek Furjan. Hurkacz, 23, and 30-year-old Paire have played against each other twice so far in their respective careers. The 23-year-old Pole won the first meeting between the two as he beat Paire 6-3 3-6 6-3 in last year's Winston-Salem Open final to lift his maiden ATP title.
The Frenchman tied their head-to-head between them last month when he defeated Hurkacz 6-4 6-7 (1) 6-2 in the Auckland semifinal.
