Coach Craig Boynton believes his pupil Hubert Hurkacz has a big upside as he thinks the rising Polish star now just needs to get a little bit better in some areas of his game. Hurkacz, 23, is considered one of the most talented players from his generation as he has already proven capable of competing extremely well against the best players of the game.
Hurkacz, ranked at No. 29 in the world, won his maiden ATP title last year after beating France's Benoit Paire in the Winston-Salem Open final. The Pole made a positive start to this year as he made the Auckland semifinal in January before he achieved a career-high ranking of No.
28 in the world in February. "Everything is right in front of Hubi, everything’s on the table,” coach Boynton told the ATP Tour. “He’s in a really good spot. He just has to learn a little bit more, he just has to grow a little bit more, get a little more experience, get a little bit better in some areas”.
