Simona Halep foresees a tough period through which humankind needs to pass after the coronavirus pandemic is stopped. For her part, Simona isn’t entirely sure how her career will unfold after she gets back to competing for big trophies.
“An enormous economic crisis is coming and it will be very hard for a lot of people. The most important thing is to try to keep calm and to think that this is not happening only to us. It’s happening all around the globe,” said Halep for Garantat 100% Romanian TV show.
Regarding the future of her tennis career, Halep doesn’t know how she or the other tennis players will be affected once the tour restarts. “Definitely, it will be different. It will be a pretty big emotional impact from my point of view.
I don’t know whether we will be affected positively or negatively on the psychological side,” said Simona. However, Halep thinks that people should have already learned a lesson from these times. “I tried to analyse this period while I stayed inside the house and I have the feeling that I will cherish more the little things, the soulish things, than I did before this crisis.
The material things have probably been appreciated too much until this day and that’s why some people are really affected,” said Simona Halep. If you want to see how does Simona spends her days during these times, check this article.
