Svitolina pulls off wisdom teeth before meeting Ukraine's president Zelensky

Elina Svitolina announced on her Instagram Stories that she pulled off wisdom teeth before meeting with Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky in an online video discussion. "Very interesting 24h... starting with removal of wisdom teeth.

And finishing with a chat with President Zelenskyy," wrote Svitolina on Instagram. Svitolina talked about her fundraising attempt that will happen in Monaco on December 2nd. "I was honored to meet the President of Ukraine, @zelenskiy_official as well as our UNITED24 @u24.gov.ua ambassadors team: @andriyshevchenko @usykaa @lievschreiber @stationcdrkelly and Timothy Snyder.

We are joining forces to raise funds for generators for hospitals. Today, Ukrainian doctors have to perform surgeries by flashlight. We have to help these brave men and women do their job. A job that saves lives. Join our fundraiser!" Svitolina captioned a short clip from her meeting with Zelensky.

Svitolina predicted the end of Russian war

Elina Svitolina, now Monfils, believes the Ukraine-Russia war is coming to an end and aims to help Ukrainians by raising donations at her forthcoming annual gala.

"On Friday, December 2, 2022 I’m holding the Annual Gala Dinner, which will be held for the first time at Monaco Yacht Club. The funds raised during this evening, placed under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, will be used to finance the programs set up by @esvitolinafoundation since 2019 including post-war Ukrainian tennis recovery program, but also to continue the logistical and material support provided to the families of beneficiaries severely impacted by the war in Ukraine.

For me, this is an opportunity to once again remind everyone that the war continues. My goal is to gather those who support Ukraine and find new friends and partners for my Foundation. The team and I firmly believe in victory and are already thinking about the post-war restoration of the sports infrastructure.

Young talents who fled the country because of the war should know that they will soon be very welcome at home," Svitolina announced on Instagram.
