Nick Kyrgios seemingly shades Bernard Tomic over unconventional training method

Nick Kyrgios seemingly shaded Bernard Tomic after Tomic posted a video in which he can be seen riding a bicycle while playing tennis. "Actually surprisingly good for coordination. Starting a new sport. My two favorite training combined," Tomic captioned his video.

After watching the video, Kyrgios reacted: "Moves better moving forward like this."

In January, Kyrgios had a minor knee procedure.

After sharing the news, Tomic wished Kyrgios a quick recovery. "Despite our differences we go way back. Wish @kingkyrgios a quick recovery. Hope to see him back on the circuit soon," Tomic wrote on his Instagram Story at the time.

Kyrgios responded to Tomic by simply saying: "Cheers."

Kyrgios' surgery 'could not have gone better'

Recently, Kyrgios' manager Daniel Horsfall shared a very promising update on the 2022 Wimbledon finalist. “The surgery went great, to be honest, we couldn’t have asked for a better result.

We’re all pretty pleased, the team is ready to go, when he’s ready, we’re ready. He’s in a knee brace at the moment, he only has movement up to about 70 degrees. We have a post-op appointment today to test where it’s at, but we’ve been talking to the surgeon most days and also the physio.

They’re really, really pleased, he might be recovering faster than what we were expecting so it’s good news," Horsfall told SEN Breakfast. Kyrgios is currently at home and he is targeting to return in March. "He’s fantastic (mentally) at the moment.

He’s at home, playing Pokemon, eating his mum’s food, it doesn’t get much better than that. A lot of things players don't get in general is the time to recover. You play all year round. It is disappointing that he's had this surgery but it means two things, he's had his knee cleaned up and is going to be back better than ever.

But also, we have this time to get him fitter and stronger than he was this time last year. It's all green lights," Horsfall added.
