After Bianca Andreescu asked Nick Kyrgios to help her learn the technique for pulling off tweeners with a social media video that shows her struggling to grasp the move, Kyrgios gave the Canadian former US Open winner a few tips.
"send help @k1ngkyrg1os," Andreescu captioned the video with her failed tweeners.
After watching the video above, Andreescu's compatriot Genie Bouchard had a good laugh at the "wide leg run" that Bianca tries in her attempts to hit a tweener correctly.
"the wide leg run," Bouchard commented alongside a crying emoji. Fortunately for Andreescu, Kyrgios commented pretty fast with some tips. "Gotta let the ball drop a little bit and open up your grip. practice!!!" After reading Nick's tips, Andreescu commented: "hmmm ok update coming soon.
Would be nice if I had your long legs tho lol."
Mouratoglou said Kyrgios is the best at tweeners after Federer
In March, coach Patrick Mouratoglou said Nick Kyrgios has the best tweener technique among all the players in the circuit right now but pointed out that it was Roger Federer who mastered that specific shot.
In one of his latest Instagram videos, Mouratoglou named the best trick shots in the game. During the video, Mouratoglou gets asked to name the best tweener in the tennis world. "Kyrgios, but the master is Roger Federer," Mouratoglou said.
"How spectacular those trick shots are? Stay tuned for Part 2!" Mouratoglou captioned the video above.
