Emma Raducanu posts inspirational message, hints at wanting major comeback?

Emma Raducanu is seemingly throwing hints that she is determined to make a successful return to tennis. Raducanu, who had multiple surgeries this month, is set to miss Wimbledon and be out for an extended period. Before surgeries, Raducanu was constantly dealing with injuries and it was greatly impacting her results - which led to the Briton being often on the receiving end of criticism.

On her Twitter, Raducanu posted a written inspirational message. "Well done is better than well said," the message Raducanu posted read.

Raducanu defended by Marion Bartoli

Bartoli, the 2013 Wimbledon champion, thinks a healthy Raducanu can be a good player and contend for titles.

Raducanu hasn't had any wins since her 2021 US Open triumph and some have been blaming the Briton's endorsement deals for her lack of success. However, Bartoli does not really think that Raducanu's endorsement deals are to blame for the Briton not winning any titles after the 2021 US Open.

"She has so many more years ahead of her and if she can get her body ready, I don't think there is a lack of focus. Of course there are endorsements but Maria Sharapova had a lot of endorsements but she was extremely focused throughout her career and Serena Williams was the same.

Players can have a lot of endorsements, but they're able to deal that, so that's not the issue for Emma. She didn't have the time to get herself mentally and physically ready to deal with everything that's been thrown at her since she won that Grand Slam, but it doesn't mean she won't be ready.

It just requires slightly more time. Give her time and she will be fine," Bartoli told Sky Sports. Raducanu will be out at least through the entire grass season but it's not really guaranteed that Raducanu will be able to return during the summer hard court events.
