While Taylor Fritz was shushing the Parisian crowd after they booed him most of the match against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech, his girlfriend was spotted recording the moment with her own camera. As soon as she noticed everybody was looking at her, Morgan Riddle put her camera away.

But I think Taylor handled it exceptionally well & ultimately gave the crowd what they had been giving him for 3 hours”.

Why was Taylor Fritz booed
The main reason why Fritz was booed across his second-round match at Roland Garros is that he had to confront Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech.
Since they wanted to support their compatriot, the crowd tried to affect Fritz by screaming and booing. Yet, those did not work. Fritz won in straight sets (6-4, 6-3, 6-4) and silenced the crowd by shushing the Parisians, who were obviously not happy with his gesture.
In the end, the American managed to say before leaving the court (quite regretfully): "The crowd was fantastic, they always supported me. Thank you (naturally all in a sarcastic key)."
"I love you guys" 😂
