Kyrgios' announcement regarding US Open participation
A few days ago, Nick announced he will miss the US Open.
"Heartbroken about the US Open. I will be back. My wrist is not ready yet to compete. But may I remind people I have a protected ranking of 21 when I choose to be back, lIl be back where I belong," Kyrgios said in a statement posted on his Instagram Story.
For now, Nick will focus on his recovery, on his close ones, and on commenting on what happens on the big stage of tennis, as is his habit. Recently, Nick defended Alcaraz after being attacked for throwing his racket in the loss against Tommy Paul.
