Emma Raducanu concluded her China trip and suggested that he is very much looking forward to returning to the country later this year. Raducanu, who has been sidelined since May after undergoing three surgeries, recently decided to visit China.

In China, Raducanu enjoyed some quality time but also used her time there to do some training and practice. "Farewell to beautiful China, see you in the second half of the year (heart emoji)," Raducanu wrote on Weibo. Here are all the images from China trip that Raducanu posted on her Weibo account.

Raducanu visited China for the first time in 2019

Raducanu feeling connection to China shouldn't be surprising considering that her mother Reene is from Shenyang.

In a recent interview with Porsche-Tennis, Raducanu opened up on visiting China for the first time since 2019. “I really love it here in China. I would spend three weeks here every summer since before I can remember and to be back here feels so comforting," Raducanu told Porsche-Tennis.

When in China, Raducanu absolutely loves to spend time in her mother's hometown. “Shenyang, my mom’s hometown, to visit most of my family, and re-immerse myself in the culture. We especially pride ourselves with the food in Shenyang.

It is one of the best and is something that I have grown up with and love," Raducanu said. In China, Raducanu also spoke about idolizing Li Na as a kid. “A big inspiration was Li Na growing up, I liked looking up to her resilient mentality and athletic footwork," Raducanu said.

Meanwhile, Raducanu will return to China later this year to compete at the MGM Macau Tennis Masters that is set to take place between December 02-03. "There will be an even greater connection to the local community. Emma’s [Raducanu] Chinese roots and her remarkable rise to stardom by winning the US Open have made her a global sensation, while Wu Yibing’s historic feat as the first Chinese national to win an ATP tournament has significantly elevated his standing in world tennis," Luiz Carvalho, a senior vice-president at sports group IMG, said in a statement in July.
