The young tennis star Coco Gauff, winner of the 2023 edition of the US Open, shared a beautiful message for her countrywoman gymnast Simone Bile, crowning her as the GOAT. Simone won the gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, in the women's all-around final in Antwerp, Belgium.
The American became the only female gymnast to win six world all-around golds, equaling Uchimura Kohei's record.
Biles beat silver medalist Rebeca Andrade and bronze medalist Shilese Jones. Coco Gauff shared a post on X, highlighting how Simone Biles is the GOAT:

Iga Swiatek beats Coco Gauff in the Beijing semifinal
Iga Swiatek took her personal revenge against Coco Gauff and ended the streak of 16 consecutive victories recorded by the young American tennis player starting from the Cincinnati tournament.
The Pole dominated the match from the first to the last exchange, closing the match 6-2, 6-3 and reaching the 20th final of her career, the seventh of the season, at the WTA 1000 in Beijing. Swiatek and Gauff faced each other at the Western & Southern Open, last August 19, and the 19-year-old from Atlanta triumphed in three sets.
Today, on the Diamond Stadium of the Olympic Green Tennis Centre, there was no match. Swiatek was never in difficulty and forced Gauff to look for complicated solutions to break down the wall built in the defensive phase.
Gauff was saved in the opening game, but gave up twice in a row.
The former WTA number one conceded nothing from the baseline and gained the first important advantage thanks to a backhand winning return.
The American collected only two games in the first set. The music didn't change in the second set, because Swiatek immediately surprised Gauff.
The tennis player born in 2004 required the intervention of a physiotherapist for a shoulder problem and Swiatek took advantage of this to extend her dominance on her serve, conceding only one point to her rival in the subsequent games.
The Pole will face Liudmila Samsonova in the final, able to surprise a rediscovered Elena Rybakina with a score of 7-6(7), 6-3. The Kazakh defeated Tour number one Aryna Sabalenka in the penultimate act of the China Open, but she couldn't find a way to continue the incredible performance of the previous day.
Samsonova scored the first break of the dispute at 4-4 and had the chance to definitively update her score on serve. Rybakina, however, opposed fate and grabbed the tie-break, also canceling a set point in the twelfth game.
Having recovered the mini-break deficit, Samsonova converted the fourth set point to remove the possible insult. The second set also proved to be very balanced: both held serve without any major worries until the fateful 4-3.
Rybakina was pressured by Samsonova's groundstrokes and lost serve in a tough eighth game. This time, the Russian did not tremble and deservedly reached the final.
