Coco Gauff made a beautiful gift to the International Tennis Hall of Fame museum: the outfit and shoes with which the young North American tennis player won the 2023 US Open edition.

The outfit with which the young tennis icon won the title in New York was composed of a red t-shirt, a skirt and New Balance CG1 City Brights shoes.

International Tennis Hall of Fame wrote on X: "Some noteworthy additions. @CocoGauff's iconic @newbalance shoes and outfit from her @usopen win are now in Newport! The gear is on display at the International Hall of Fame for fans to view in the museum through the end of the year."

In a recent interview Coco talked about what happened after the victory and how she decided to take a few days off for the success.

She said: "Honestly it was all a bit strange, we talk about one of the most important things in your life, then you come home and do the cleaning or household chores as if nothing had happened."

Coco has been aiming to win a Slam for two years now, already last year she suffered the shame of a defeat by falling in the final against Iga Swiatek and now she has realized how she faced the greatest success of her career.

"I decided to take a week off from tennis, the longest since I've been playing this sport. It was strange to be left with nothing to do, then I had a small party with family and friends I hadn't seen for a while. But to say the truth is I couldn't wait to leave again, a week without playing is a really long time for me," said the young North American tennis star.

Coco will now be one of the eight great protagonists who will compete in Cancun to win the 2023 WTA Finals title.
