In a new commercial for the Romanian bank Banca Transilvania, Simona Halep, who shot in Dubai for the ad, sends an inspirational message to her followers. "The hard path is to continue, even if you don't know where it goes.

And it means to fight, even when it seems you're not winning. It's not easy, but I must face it," Halep says in the commercial that also features fellow former tennis player Horia Tecau and legendary Romanian soccer player Gheorghe Hagi.

Halep's followers were impressed by the commercial. "The first ad that managed to give me goosebumps!

Congratulations! Happy Birthday Romania!" one of Halep's Instagram followers remarked.

Halep is hoping for a favorable decision on her doping case

While being suspended, Simona Halep is still training for a possible comeback that should come following a favorable verdict from the CAS, the body that handles Halep's contestation to the ITIA's 4-year-ban, which left Halep disappointed.

"My representatives and I presented the ITIA and the tribunal with compelling evidence in support of my defense, including multiple legitimate questions regarding the conclusions reached around my Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) testing.

While I am grateful to finally have an outcome following numerous unfounded delays and a feeling of living in purgatory for over a year, I am both shocked and disappointed by their decision. I believe in a clean sport and in almost two decades as a professional tennis player, through hundreds of tournaments and two Grand Slam titles, I have taken 200 blood and urine tests to check for prohibited substances – all of which have been clean, until August 29, 2022," Halep said in a statement after she was given a four-year ban from the sport. Halep's last hope is that taking her case to the CAS can help her clean her name.
