Naomi Osaka's sister Mari issued a disturbing Instagram post, accusing her father Leonard Francois of long-term emotional and physical abuse, as well as constant harassment.
Mari, 27, is the older sister of Naomi Osaka and she also tried herself in pro tennis before calling it quits at 24. Mari and Naomi were both born in Japan to a Japanese mother and a Haitian father. When Naomi was three, the family moved to Long Island, New York.
"I want you to know how disappointed and disgusted I am in you, as a father and human being in general. You have failed in every way imaginable. You have abused me since I was young and continue to harass my mother. You continue to emotionally abuse her and trespass into our home when you have your own," Mari Osaka wrote in an Instagram post before deactivating her account.
Mari Osaka: Threaten to beat me again, I'll kill you unless you kill me first with a gun
In the since-deleted post, Mari claimed that her father "hides behind his physical ability to beat me down and our refusal to call to cops on you." Also, Mari suggested that her father trespassed into her and her mother's house and threatened to beat them. Mari warned her father that the next time she would call the police immediately and that she would fight back.
"I will kill you unless you kill me first by bringing a gun like the coward you are. So go ahead let's see what type of man you really are even though I've already known since birth I'm the daughter to the devil. God help me when he comes again," Mari Osaka concluded.
