Naomi Osaka came back at the Brisban International

Naomi Osaka, after skipping the entire 2023 season for the birth of her daughter, returned on the court on the first day of the year in Brisbane, winning 6-3 7-6 (9) against the German Korpatsch.

"Today I felt like Shai he was looking at me. I wanted to do my best for her. I want to be a good model for my daughter. I think his birth influenced me a lot. He taught me to be much more patient. I believe that the birth has also been the most painful thing I've ever tried.

Also, I thought I trained almost immediately after childbirth to find myself at this point. I am very happy to have won this meeting. I can't wait for the next one," she Said. In the second round, the Japanese was defeated after a hard duration three sets battle by Karolina Pliskova, but the good form shown leaves hopes for the near future.
