The shocking death of Konstantin Koltsov, boyfriend of star tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, would have led the Belarusian tennis player who won the Australian Open to a shocking decision: to play the Miami Open without giving interviews.

This is what was revealed by Tennis Channel and reported by X account @Olly_Tennis_. The account which also revealed how Sabalenka's former hockey player boyfriend died after jumping from the balcony, as reported by the Miami police.

The situation regarding the death of the Belarusian athlete is still very dark and confusing. At first, the Belarusian media, then reported by the Daily Mail, spoke of a blood clot. Now, however, the most accredited hypothesis would be that of suicide.

The news began to circulate on the evening of Monday 18 March. Unfortunately, the first confirmations arrived a few hours later and shook the entire world of sport.
A sudden loss that shocked everyone, with fans, media and insiders who virtually embraced the player with messages of condolence for her serious passing.

In the very early morning of Tuesday, the Russian hockey federation unfortunately made the news official with a short note, without specifying how and where exactly he died.

The disappearance, according to what emerged in the first hours from the Belarusian media, occurred suddenly. Koltsov also played for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL, where he played for three seasons.

The Belarusian has not yet released any official statements, although as mentioned she is expected to play the WTA 1000 tournament in Florida. We can only imagine what she is experiencing and her current state of mind following the heartbreaking death of her partner. Furthermore, a few years ago, the athlete from Minsk had to overcome the loss of her beloved father.
