Arthur Cazaux revealed that he spent the night in the hospital after collapsing on the court in Miami and also indicated that "a long series of tests" didn't show anything serious with his health condition.

On Monday, 21-year-old Cazaux collapsed on the court early in the third set of his Miami Masters qualifying first-round match against Harold Mayot. After just crashing on the court while preparing for a return, Cazaux received help on the court but the match was over for him as he exited the court in a wheelchair.

At the time of Cazaux's retirement, he was 4-6 7-5 2-1 up and the score was 30-30 on Mayot's serve in the fourth game.

The moment in which Cazaux collapsed left many shocked and concerned for the Frenchman as seeing a player just crash while preparing for the next point was certainly a very scary scene.

But everything finished well as the 21-year-old Frenchman received the best possible care in the hospital, and most importantly, his pressure and heart "remained stable."

Cazaux's update after collapsing in Miami

"Hello everyone, a word to tell you that I'm feeling better. I just left Miami hospital after spending the night in the hospital receiving care and a long series of tests," Cazaux wrote in a message posted on his Instagram in French.

"Today my physical condition is better, My pressure and my heart have remained stable. It was ultimately more fear than harm. Now my body has to be rested and I hope to be back on the courts very quickly.

"Thank you everyone for your messages of support, and see you very soon."

Meanwhile, Cazaux was playing in Miami for the first time this year. Considering that Cazaux has been on the rise recently, he certainly came to Miami feeling well about his chances of making it past the qualifying draw and making his main draw debut.

While Cazaux's Miami run ended in a very disappointing and unfortunate way, the positive thing is that at least he avoided a serious health issue.
