Daniil Medvedev was back at it on Thursday as the Russian tennis star had another very explosive rant toward officials, this time getting annoyed by a line umpire wearing glasses and calling for the umpire in question to be fired from his ATP Tour job.

Taking on fellow Russian Karen Khachanov in the Monte Carlo Masters round-of-16, Medvedev was down by a set and he found himself in a very situation when serving at 5-5 in the second set and facing a 15-30 on his serve.

In the fourth point of the 11th game, Medvedev thought that one of Khachanov's shots undoubtedly landed out. But line umpires didn't make any calls, nor did chair umpire Carlos Bernardes make any overturns. On TV, a live hawkeye revealed that Medvedev was fully right and that Khachanov's ball was indeed out.

But Medvedev lost the point and Khachanov had two consecutive break points. Medvedev managed to save the first break point but double-faulted on the second set as Khachanov took a 6-5 lead and got himself a chance to serve out for the match. Medvedev didn't take it well, angrily throwing his racket

Medvedev rants at a line umpire: This guy with the glasses, he doesn't see anything!

At the changeover, Medvedev let chair umpire Bernardes and tournament supervisor Cedric Mourier hear it.

“You go look at the mark, the mark is fricking out. They don’t know how to referee anymore; the mark is out. Who will take action? Who will take action?” Medvedev was heard ranting during the changeover.

“Yesterday, the ball was out, it was called in. Who will take action? This ball is out there. Who will take responsibility?

“It’s not my responsibility to referee the matches. It’s this guy in the glasses. He doesn’t need glasses because he doesn’t see anything, he should not be a referee. It’s in front of him … He’s a bad referee, he should be out of the referee circle. It’s clay, it’s not hard court, it’s out.”

“It’s the second day in a row, guys. Open your freaking eyes! Open your eyes! Sit there and do something.”

In the 12th game, Khachanov realized his first match point to complete a 6-3 7-5 win over Medvedev.

Medvedev will now turn his focus to the Madrid Masters, which starts on April 24th.
