Petra Kvitova has become mom of little Petr! The Czech, two-time Wimbledon champion, announced the birth of her first child through a Facebook and Instagram post; a wonderful announcement that came in the middle of the Wimbledon tournament.

Petra posted a photo of her hand touching her son's on her Facebook account, writing: "Petr, 7.7.2024." Thee 34-year-old paused her career by making her pregnancy public on January 1, 2024. She won Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014 for a total of 31 WTA Tour titles. The birth of their first child comes 11 months after Kvitova's wedding to her coach Jiri Vanek.

Saturday, July 22, 2023, in fact, was a truly special and unforgettable day for Czech tennis player. Petra officially joined her current coach. The two celebrated their wonderful wedding and, through a photo shared on various social channels, they communicated the news of the wedding to the entire world. A special moment for the newlyweds, who decided not to stay together only on the tennis courts but also to share the rest of their lives.
