Carolina Wozniacki pulls out of Rome

Caroline Wozniacki has pulled out of the upcoming Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome due to a knee injury. The withdraw comes after the former world number 1 second round loss to Roberta Vinci where she was struggling with pain in her left knee.

During that match she called on the trainer who attended to her knee by strapping it up to support it more. Wozniacki is yet to make any comment to the media or on her social accounts in reagrds to her withdrawal. Wozniacki's withdrawal means that Eugenie Bouchard will now play Francesca Schiavone in the first round at Rome.
