Tennis - Spanish veterans Tommy Robredo and Fernando Verdasco have confirmed their participation at the ATP Brazil Open in February, joining fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in the field. The Brazil Open is an ATP 250 level event and will be held at the Ibirapuera Arena in Sao Paulo from February 9 to 15th.
Lopez is the highest ranked of the three Spaniards at No. 14, followed by Robredo at No. 17 and Verdasco at No. 33. Robredo, a former World No. 5, has won this event in 2009 whereas Lopez and Verdasco will be hoping to win the tournament for the first time.
