Evgeny Korolev to make his comeback to professional tennis

Elbow injury has caused so many problems in recent years for former 46th players in the world, Evgeny Korolev. After 2014 season he fell out from top-500 in the world and next year wasn't the year of his big comeback as he has played only six matches, winning two and losing four of those six matches.

Not competing constantly and being absent from most of the tournaments resulted him being placed right now at 1756th place. Now, according to Ubitennis, former top-50 player Korolev refuses to give up as he will try to make his comeback to professional tennis at F14 and F15 Futures events in Florida (Orange Park, Vero Beach).

Bad news is that his ranking at this moment is not high enough to make direct entry to the main draw of Futures tournaments and qualifications will be needed to be done firstly if he wants to find his name in the main draw.

Yet, good news is that with 28 years on his back he is still relatively young and hopefully we will be seeing him on tennis court for at least couple of more years. Also read: Taylor Fritz, Jared Donaldson and Reilly Opelka to play ATP Newport
