On Monday, IMG announced that 18-year-old Naomi Osaka signed a worldwide marketing and management agreement with the company.
The agency was very amazed with the performance that Osaka had in Tokyo last week where she was beaten by Caroline Wozniacki in the final, after winning against Misaki Doi, Dominika Cibulkova, Sasnovich and Elina Svitolina.

Asked if she could make a big result at Grand Slams as well, Osaka said in press conference: 'I’m happy with the way I play at Slams 'cause they're very important to me, but I kind of wish I could transfer the feeling like to the other tournaments.' Serena Williams also said something positive about her last year at the Australian Open: 'I have seen her play.
